From humble beginnings...
Former owner, Alex, bought the store in 1983 to provide employment for friends of his who were struggling to find work. At the time, the store had two or three household refrigerators and some shelves for groceries.
Over time, he was able to increase the size of the store but the guiding principles remained the same. Along with staff, he was committed to selling only high quality natural and organic food products, operating at a high level of honesty and integrity, and treating everyone with respect and kindness. They were dedicated to sharing their knowledge with customers.
...and into the present
Current owner, Wes, abides by the same principles and builds on this foundation. He considers himself the "gate-keeper" for the store. He personally selects or approves every product offered for safety and effectiveness.
He knows that customers trust him to uphold the highest standards of honesty, integrity and customer service and to only sell products that he would give to his own children.
